PPHF with support from GE Wipro Foundation is working with MoHFW’s NPCDCS program across 5 states in collaboration with the state NHM through a project called “SCREEN (Strengthen Capacity to Reach Everyone for Effective Screening to Prevent NCDs)” since 2017. SCREEN works collaboratively with the state government of Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Karnataka in over 20 aspirational districts to improve screening, early detection, and capacity building for management of NCDs. The overall objective of SCREEN is to contribute to the national goal of reducing mortality and morbidity from NCDs. The purpose of the workshop is to share the learnings and impact of SCREEN across 5 states among key stakeholders and discuss the opportunities and possible partnerships for better NCD programming and prioritizing key actions to build a resilient NCD program approach to recover from COVID 19 negative impacts.
