The handing over ceremony of Doddatumkur Primary Health Center (PHC) in Bengaluru Rural District marked the completion of infrastructure enhancements supported by GE HealthCare India and People to People Health Foundation – Asia (PPHF). Improvements included the construction of an outpatient department (OPD) room, a clinical laboratory, and the supply of essential diagnostic medical equipment to facilitate quality diagnostic tests.
These upgrades have significantly increased foot traffic to the OPD and clinical laboratory, providing the community with better healthcare services. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from the Health Department, GE HealthCare India, PPHF, as well as Community Health Officers, staff nurses, and ASHA workers from the PHC.
