Capacity Building Workshop for ASHA Workers under Mission Sunehra Kal in Haridwar

People to People Health Foundation (PPHF), under Mission Sunehra Kal and in collaboration with the Health Department, Haridwar, organized a one-day training workshop for ASHA workers at CHC Bahadrabad on 10 November 2025, with guidance from Dr. R.K. Singh (CMO) and Dr. Arti Behl (MOIC, CHC Bahadrabad) and support from District ASHA Coordinator Ms. Shalini. The session covered key themes such as maternal and child health, institutional delivery, ANC and PNC check-ups, and management of high-risk pregnancies, and saw the participation of around 50 ASHA workers, along with ANMs, ASHA facilitators, Block ASHA Coordinator, and BPM Mr. Akhilesh, aiming to enhance frontline workers’ capacity to deliver effective, community-level healthcare. The initiative is supported by ITC Limited under Mission Sunehra Kal.
