As part of Project PRANAA, People to People Health Foundation – Asia and GE HealthCare India conducted training on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) for 26 ASHAs at Doddatumkur PHC today. The training aimed to enhance the health workers’ capacity to provide NCD services in the community, covering topics such as hypertension, diabetes, and oral, breast, and cervical cancer. Post-test assessments showed that participants benefited from the training. Dr. Manjuwani, MO at Doddatumkur PHC, appreciated the initiative and was confident that ASHAs would benefit from it.
