HBCC 2.0 – Dissemination & Learning Meet

People to People Health Foundation (PPHF) and Save the Children, India with support from Unilever, convened a dissemination and learning meet – ‘Hygiene and Behavior Change Program’ on April 20, 2023. The event marked the conclusion of HBCC 2.0 Program that was run in five states including Bihar, Maharashtra, Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

The meeting was represented by a combination of high-level speakers and  Community Level Champions who spoke on the challenges and opportunities for Hand Hygiene programmes in the context of post COVID in India. Key Learnings and experiences were shared in the session moderated by Dr Laxmikant Palo, CEO, PPHF where representatives from Save the Children, India, Population Services International, Aga Khan Foundation India, RTI International shared challenges and way forward. The importance of integrating projects with large scale mission/schemes, coalition of partners and more investment in WASH remained the highlight of the meeting.
