As part of ‘My Health Project’ supported by GeBBS Healthcare Solutions India, implemented by People to People Health Foundation (PPHF) and in local partnership with Nirabhra Foundation, a Dissemination Meeting was organised in Mulund. Stakeholders shared learnings of the first year of ‘My Health Project’ which aimed at contributing to improving knowledge and a call for action in adopting the appropriate health-seeking behaviours. The project effectively engaged pregnant, lactating women and adolescent girls.
The meeting was represented by key project stakeholders who talked about the need and challenges of maternal, adolescents and child health. ICDS representative along with AWWs and Community members shared their experience and insights. Teachers and Children from Gayatri Vidyamandir and Mohammadi Urdu School graced the occasion.
Dr Laxmikant Palo shared why urban health needs more attention and PPHF’s vision and commitment in that context.
Representatives from development partners including Dasra, Save the Children, India , Samata Foundation and Bright Future Foundation were in attendance.
