In collaboration with ITC, the People-to-People Health Foundation organized a World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024 event at Panchla Gram Panchayat in the Howrah district. The event focused on adolescent girls and women, with collaborative participation from ASHA workers, ANMs, and CHOs at the Suswasthya Kendra. This event attracted 42 participants, learning about the importance of proper menstrual care, nutrition, and eco-friendly disposal methods. The event emphasized preventive care, early marriage, and early pregnancy awareness, highlighting the need to address these issues in rural communities to improve overall health outcomes for women and adolescents.
