Under the HDFC Bank & HDFC Bank Parivartan CSR initiative, the Holistic Rural Development Programme, implemented by People to People Health Foundation (PPHF), three exposure visits were conducted on 25th February 2025 to enhance livelihood opportunities through handicrafts, food processing, and sustainable agriculture.
Handicraft Unit, Dhalpur, North Lakhimpur: Participants explored traditional and modern craftsmanship, quality control, and product diversification. Food Processing Unit, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh: Led by experts, the visit provided insights into modern food processing techniques, hygiene standards, and value addition. Millet & Mushroom Processing Incubation Centre, Papumpare: The visit focused on sustainable millet and mushroom farming, with an emphasis on eco-friendly practices, modern cultivation techniques, and quality control. These visits showcased innovative solutions for livelihood generation, highlighting the importance of training, financial support, and market access to empower rural communities.
