Program Objectives:

• To facilitate increased commitment and collaboration of key stakeholders for creating an enabling environment through a series of national and regional consultations for prioritization and repositioning of obesity.
• To establish a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to reposition obesity as a chronic disease that needed comprehensive care.
• To create an evidence-based policy brief highlighting policy and program gaps and making recommendations to prioritize obesity and increase investment
• and enhance partnerships.
• Facilitate allowance and acceptance of obesity prevention and treatment as a priority across states for budgetary planning and allocation by the respective governments.
