Under Project PUNARAYA, supported by Sun Pharma’s CSR initiative and implemented by People to People Health Foundation, we have been working since August 2025 at the Palasbari State Dispensary, Kamrup, to strengthen public healthcare infrastructure and enhance patient experience. The successful completion of the project was proudly marked with an inauguration ceremony on 19th January. The event was graced by Shri Debakumar Mishra, District Commissioner, Smt. Rashmi Baruah Gogoi, Co–District Commissioner, Dr. Angkita Sarma, Circle Officer, Dr. Ajit Das, Joint Director of Health Services, Mr. Azadar Khan, Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs, Sun Pharma, Mr. Ranjit Mahapatra, Plant Head, Sun Pharma, and Mr. Avinash Chauhan, Head – CSR, Guwahati Plant, Sun Pharma. The initiative delivered comprehensive facility upgrades, including a boundary wall, drinking water station, separate male and female toilets, a renovated hospital approach road, and a dedicated patient registration counter. Beyond infrastructure, PPHF actively engaged with the community through mobilization and awareness programmes, to ensure better utilization of healthcare services.
