PPHF conducted Diabetes awareness camps on Nov 22, 24, and 29 in 10 villages of Kishanganj and Shahabad blocks. The sessions focused on educating participants about the signs and symptoms of diabetes, with testing offered to those showing potential symptoms.
A total of 415 individuals participated in the awareness sessions, and 113 of them underwent diabetes testing. Out of the tested individuals, 43 known diabetics were identified with elevated sugar levels. These patients were provided with necessary medications and referred to nearby CHC/PHC for further assistance.
This awareness drive is part of the SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels initiative, supported by SBI Foundation and SBI Securities, demonstrating PPHF’s commitment to community health and well-being.
