As a part of the SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels initiative, PPHF collaborated with SBI Foundation and SBI Securities to organize Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness and Screening Camps across ten villages in Kishanganj and Shahabad. The events reached out to more than 400 participants, providing crucial information about the signs, symptoms, and essential precautions related to tuberculosis.
The screening camps involved collecting sputum samples from 44 participants who were experiencing symptoms associated with TB. These samples were then sent for examination, leading to the diagnosis of one individual with TB. The identified person is now under treatment, showcasing the impact of early detection and intervention.
This collaborative effort between PPHF, SBI Foundation, and SBI Securities aims to enhance awareness about tuberculosis in rural communities and emphasizes the importance of early screening and preventive measures.
