ABOUT US
The Journey of Transformation
People to People Health Foundation (PPHF) is a not-for-profit company registered under section 8 of the Company act 2013 in India. Our foundation envisions a world where everyone has equal access to opportunities for better health, which is what we aspire to do in a broad, enduring sense. We have endeavoured to continue to apply evidence and generate new knowledge for better program impact. We remain committed to working together with our key stakeholders for better health outcomes. We ensure that we continually advance and accelerate our actions so that we deliver and exceed expectations. “Catalysing change for wellbeing” inspires us to continue creating and refining our approach to influence people’s health positively. It reflects our readiness to take on new public health challenges and to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to “transform lives for improved health and wellbeing through locally-driven solutions”. We work collaboratively with stakeholders, leveraging partnerships and influencing policies and practices.
Drawing on our experiences and recognizing the unique needs of each region, PPHF works in partnership with key stakeholders to design and deliver targeted responses. Our programs integrate innovative, evidence-based interventions in three key areas:
- Building the skills of health care workers and the capacity of the local health care system
- Improving access to quality services
- Establishing and expanding community support systems
Our Solutions
We work closely with communities and key actors on sustainable solutions for public health challenges. Our areas of expertise include:
We host the secretariate of AASTHA (Asia-Africa Supply Chain Transform Health Alliance), a multi-stakeholder alliance platform of leaders by bringing partners together, fostering collaboration, leveraging technology, improving end-to-end processes, and mobilizing collective strengths for sustainable health supply chain processes.
PPHF believes that the underlying causes of the gender gap in health service delivery can be addressed by facilitating equal access to women and men in their use of preventive health care, their health behaviours, and their health care and treatment. We focus on gender-inclusive approaches for better health programming in collaboration with stakeholders. That is PPHF — a not-for-profit company with a proud past and a bright future to be a change agent for health and wellbeing!
