On 2nd March 2026, the People to People Health Foundation (PPHF), in collaboration with AASTHA Asia-Africa Supply Chain Transform Health Alliance, convened a Development Dialogue on building a resilient workforce for Viksit Bharat, with a focus on health equity for gig and supply chain workers. In his keynote address, Prof. Prashant Yadav underscored how digital platforms, strategic partnerships, and AI-enabled delivery models can significantly expand healthcare access for India’s mobile workforce. Dr. Laxmikant Palo, emphasized that collective action is essential to translate recognition into real health equity, while Dr. Anoop Khandelwal highlighted the shared responsibility toward safeguarding gig workers’ welfare. The dialogue concluded with a commitment to develop a clear, actionable roadmap for research, advocacy, and implementation. PPHF, AASTHA, and UNHU remain committed to building resilient, inclusive health systems that truly support India’s evolving workforce.
