On 14th May, the DEESHA Alliance (hosted by PPHF) convened a consultation on the MoHFW/RBSK Guidance Document on Diabetes Mellitus in Children — bringing together advocates, clinicians, and changemakers to turn policy into action. We reviewed the framework, identified implementation gaps, and defined our collective role in ensuring every child receives timely diagnosis, uninterrupted insulin access, and dignified long-term care. The recommendations will be shared with national and state governments and key stakeholders to drive implementation.
