In a collaborative effort, People to People Health Foundation (PPHF) and Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC)-Health and WCD & SW Department organized a mass awareness drive to educate the community on crucial aspects. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the significance of Antenatal Care (ANC) during pregnancy, age-appropriate vaccination for children, and the importance of handwashing with soap, employing street plays in project intervention locations.
More than 4400 individuals were directly sensitized through this impactful mass awareness campaign. Each street play concluded with an engaging quiz, reinforcing key information among the community and promoting active participation. This initiative is a part of Project SAMARTH, generously supported by the Cognizant Foundation. The collaborative endeavor underscores the commitment of both PPHF and KMC to enhance community awareness and promote essential health practices.
