PPHF marks World Diabetes Day with Community Awareness Campaign

In observance of World Diabetes Day, People to People Health Foundation (PPHF) orchestrated a community screening and awareness camp themed “Access to Diabetes Care” in Moosapet, Hyderabad. This significant event unfolded as part of the ASPIRE Program, a dedicated initiative by PPHF aimed at enhancing awareness and promoting preventive measures against diabetes.

The campaign prioritized educating participants about the signs, symptoms, and potential complications associated with diabetes. Notably, the event featured insights from several members of the patient support group, who candidly shared their personal experiences with diabetes.

A pivotal moment in the camp was the collective pledge made by all attendees to embrace positive lifestyle changes as a proactive measure to prevent diabetes. This commitment underscores the community’s determination to take charge of their health and well-being.
