As part of ITC Mission Sunhera Kal, People to People Health Foundation Health Foundation-Asia organized International Women’s Day celebration at the Sonika Anganwadi Centre in Aurangabad, Haridwar. As part of celebration sn enthralling puppet show was organised which reached over 70 beneficiaries, delving into crucial aspects of maternal and child health & nutrition.
The puppet show emphasized on key topics, including regular ancvisits, vaccination for pregnant women, vital role of breast milk for new borns, and advocating for exclusive breast feeding up to 6 months. Beyond that the show conveyed importance of nutrient-rich complementary feeding post 6 months, significance of maintaining a positive home environment, and the invaluable support provided by Anganwadi workers during the First 1000 days.
