Sustainable livelihood initiatives
to support wellbeing of Artisans

Outcomes

1. Artisans trained in advanced techniques of dyeing, coloring, and weaving.
2. Transition from traditional designs to computer-based methods for weaving sarees and dress materials.
3. Collaborations with local self-government and e-commerce platforms facilitate product marketing.
4. All machinery and equipment are centralized for convenience and a high-tech display unit is placed for visibility at a prime location.

The project focuses on enhancing the well-being of Brahmapur Patta saree artisans. Through targeted training in new designs, coloring and dyeing, and weaving techniques, we aim to empower artisans, preserve cultural heritage, and ensure economic sustainability.
