People to People Health Foundation (PPHF) is honoured to be acknowledged by the Government of Sikkim during the Hon’ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur’s official visit to Yuksam, Gyalshing District, for its contribution to grassroots initiatives and localised development interventions in underserved regions under HDFC Bank Parivartan’s Holistic Rural Development Program (HRDP).
During the visit, the Hon’ble Governor inaugurated and launched the Rooftop Solar System initiative under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and handed over the allotment order to the first beneficiary. The visit also included interactions with beneficiaries at the Kiwi Farm and Farm Field School, along with visits to the Plastic Waste Management Unit and Bamboo Handicraft Unit, showcasing community-led efforts towards sustainable livelihoods and rural development.
