Under the SBI Foundation’s Sanjeevani – Clinic On Wheels Mobile Medical Unit Project, implemented by the People to People Health Foundation (PPHF), a special awareness camp was organized on “Ill Effects of Tobacco” in various villages of Kishanganj and Shahabad blocks, reaching out to 542 rural beneficiaries. The camps focused on educating communities about the harmful impact of tobacco consumption, including its link to oral and dental problems, cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disorders. Healthcare experts encouraged participants to quit tobacco and adopt healthier lifestyle practices for a better quality of life.
